Protection Studies are vital in identifying the performance of an Electrical Network to a fault. Onsite Fault levels should not exceed the fault ratings of components like cables, switchgears etc. The protection devices should disconnect the faulted zone of the Electrical Network at the lowest possible time to avoid danger to people and property. The protection devices should also coordinate with each other such that only the respective circuit is disconnected to avoid unnecessary outage to healthy parts of the network.

SED P/L can perform protection studies for new Installations as well as protection audits and tests for existing installations such as HV customers and other industrial customers on a routine basis or following a modification.
