What is an Immigration Physical Exam?

An immigration physical exam is a compulsory medical examination required for individuals seeking to adjust their immigration status in the U.S., such as applying for a green card (permanent resident status). The USCIS mandates these medical exams to protect public health and ensure that individuals seeking permanent residency do not pose health risks to the general public. At Lifeline Urgent Care, our skilled Civil Surgeon, Dr. Ravi Kalidindi, and his team will complete all necessary procedures. We are committed to making the process as smooth and comfortable as possible for our patients.

Form I-693 and Related Information

The results of your immigration physical exam will be recorded on Form I-693 (Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record), which Dr. Kalidindi will seal in an envelope for you to submit to USCIS. The sealed envelope should not be opened; USCIS will not accept the form if the envelope has been opened or altered. It is your responsibility, not the civil surgeon’s, to submit your Form I-693 to USCIS. If you’re applying for a status adjustment, you have the option to submit Form I-693. Visit us today as your go-to center for immigration physical exams in the Houston, Fulshear, Katy, and Richmond areas.
